A fair amount of color was seen at the Couture show with the muted tones looking better than the brighter colors.

Elie Saab chose pretty pale tones for eveningwear. Gaultier used colored furs for interesting contrast when used as linings to Poiret-inspired opera coats or as an off-beat contrast to the all-important nylon parka.
